CARS. A necessary evil. Buy the wrong one and you really can hurt your financial wellbeing. Choose wisely and more often than not, buy used!

Many people make the mistake of getting into a car payment that is way too high. They believe they need a new car, but there are excellent used cars available if you know how to find them. If you put this money into your home instead, you are buying something that appreciates rather than something that depreciates. This is the best way to spend your income. I’ve used this website as a resource for identifying WHAT to buy. He is a mechanic of 53 years and he’s a wealth of information on what to do and what to avoid with car buying. I’m not going to make any suggestions on what brands to avoid but I will say there are only four that I would ever spend money on after learning what I have learned. Listen to Scotty and you’ll find out which ones! :)
